TWSBI Vac Mini Fountain Pen in grey Smoke. Clear-barrelled vacuum-filling fountain pen. Transparent grip section and plunger cap. Chromed metal trim with matt metal pocket clip. TWSBI logo finishes the top of the cap nicely.
Polished steel nib, engraved with TWSBI logo and branding, available in a wide range of sizes: fine, medium, broad, extra-fine and stub 1.1mm.
TWSBI's vacuum-filling mechanism fills the barrel with ink with a single up and down stroke of the plunger. When screwed fully down, the mechanism seals near the nib, giving extra protection against leaking. For short use, you can just uncap and write. To use the pen for longer, unscrew the piston knob a few turns to let ink flow from the barrel to the nib, but don't pull it up!
Note: vacuum-filler pens cannot use cartridges.
Supplied gift-boxed.
Like all TWSBI fountain pens we stock, this pen can be entirely disassembled for the purposes of cleaning and servicing. Instructions and necessary tools are supplied with each pen. However, the disassembly feature is only there for experienced users and is not necessary for normal use. Disassembly is at your own risk!
